Billy Smith

Born into the jewelry business, Billy has worked in the store since he started sweeping the floors for his Dad in elementary school.  Full time since 1982 when he graduated from Randolph-Macon College.  He holds degrees in Economics and Business, from Randolph-Macon College, Jewelry repair and Fabrication from the Work Bench Jewelrysmith School in Oak Ridge, Tennessee and Pearls, Diamonds and Diamond Grading and Jewelry Retailing from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in Carlsbad, California. He is also a Master Jeweler and Certified Diamond Grader by the Independent Jewelers Organization (IJO) of Southport, Connecticut. In his spare time, he loves traveling with his wife Terry and enjoys sports, particularly the Washington Nationals, Redskins and any Randolph-Macon College team that is playing. Billy is also an American History nut and enjoys traveling to Battlefields, family history and ancestry. Come see him for all your jewelry needs! 

Terry Smith

Terry married into the Jewelry Business. She is a natural as she has loved jewelry all her life.  She earned her Jewelry Essentials and Diamond Essentials certificates from  GIA.  She also went to Carlsbad California to the Gemological Institute of America ( GIA ) and is now a certified Diamond Grader.  She loves going to Antwerp, Belgium on their yearly buying trips to pick out the best diamonds for their customers. She will spend hours looking for that special diamond for  Miranda, Megan, or Addison. She calls the diamonds by name of the customer.  After all... she says, "I am not looking for ANY diamond, it’s their diamond I’m looking for!" Terry is our Bling Master, she even blinged out our walls. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her children and grandchildren across the country and near home.  Her Motto is .."Never leave Home Without a Little Sparkle".

Robin Livesay-Howard

                  Robin our dedicated Office Manager and one of the most essential members of the Smith Jewelers team. Terry met her as a
customer in 2016 and never let her go. she brings unmatched joy, energy, and expertise into the store every single day.

      Known for her bright smile and warm personality, she has truly never met a stranger. Her ability to connect with customers and
coworkers alike makes her a natural fit in her role and a beloved presence in our showroom.

She handles everything from A to Z—our true “IT girl.” From managing the store and office and supporting day-to-day operations to
collaborating with customers on beautifully designed custom pieces, she approaches every task with precision, creativity, and care.

                  Her family is from franklin, she understands our community and treats each guest like family. Her commitment, talent, and upbeat
spirit make her an invaluable part of Smith Jewelers.


Denise Dooley

Denise is a proud local native who brings warmth, consistency, and genuine care to everything she does. Known for her steady presence and kind voice, she is a natural at customer service—someone customers trust and coworkers rely on. Whether she’s assisting on the floor or helping solve a problem, she brings patience, professionalism, and true compassion to every interaction.

Beyond her dedication at work, she and her husband are raising their nephew, a role that reflects her strong sense of responsibility, family values, and heart for others. Her commitment to both her family and her community shines through daily, making her an essential part of our team.


Carol Carr

Meet Carol, a true people-person and a beloved part of the Smith Jewelers family. She’s never met a stranger—her friendly spirit and
genuine love for others make every customer feel welcomed the moment they walk through the door. 

With many years of experience in the retail industry, she brings deep knowledge, steady confidence, and a personal touch to every
interaction. As a proud local, she knows the community well and is passionate about helping customers find exactly what they’re looking for.

Though she retired a few years ago, her dedication and love for the work bring her back whenever we need her. Whether she’s
greeting guests, offering guidance, or sharing her warm smile, she continues to be an invaluable part of our team.


Laura Ehrenzeller

Laura is a proud Branchville native with deep roots in the community she loves and serves. She holds a Master’s Degree in Education
with an emphasis in Special Education from Old Dominion University, a background that reflects her dedication to understanding and
supporting people from all walks of life.

With a natural passion for customer care, she brings warmth, patience, and genuine connection to everyone she works with. Her love
for people shines through in every interaction, making her an invaluable part of our team.

Beyond her professional strengths, she is a devoted mother of five and a proud grandmother, roles that speak to her compassion,
resilience, and leadership. Her life experience and community ties make her not only an exceptional employee but also a remarkable person.
